The Book of Boba Fett: Yawn…

No longer just a hired gun, Boba Fett reinvents himself on Tatooine alongside Fennec Shand.

Available to stream on Disney+.

Two episodes in, I found things a bit boring and I’m not sure I care about Boba Fett’s back story any more, or whether he’s a “good” guy or “bad” guy…

With 5 episodes remaining to air, I hope things start to pick up.

Otherwise I may have prefered that Disney let Boba Fett remain that mysterious bounty hunter we first met in Empire.

Yes, like many, I thought he met a crappy end in Return of the Jedi, but alas we know that he somehow survived when he appeared in The Mandalorian.

I know part of Boba Fett’s origin story was explained in the prequels – I vaguely remember what happened and belong to the camp of those whom can’t bring oneself to watch those films again.

Maybe knowing too much about Boba Fett including what he looks like under the helmet, just takes away from his allure.

And speaking of which, if you haven’t already done so, check out the short doc Under the Helmet: The Legacy of Boba Fett.
