Nearly 18% of Canadian households do not subscribe to traditional TV service

According to a study from Communications Management Inc, it is estimated that 17.8% of Canadian households are “cord-cutters” or “cord-nevers”, of which nearly half (at 44.5%) are under the age of 30.

The study summarizes the gradual increasing trend from 2012 to 2017, using recently released data from Statistics Canada’s 2017 Survey of Household Spending.
